Kyran silently listened as True Void narrated the first true history of the Human plane. It was mostly the same as what Stella, the First Time Keeper, told him, apart from a tiny yet important detail.

When Kyran first suspected that the history of the Human plane before the establishment of the Ylfaen Kingdon was wrong, he initially thought the Royal Family twisted the truth. He was convinced then that they did that to ensure Layla's image, which was sickly yet adored by many, would remain that way even after her apparent conspiracy. In a sense, compared to Caelan, an illegitimate, unwanted son with no magic talent, it was better to save Layla's reputation. Besides, it was true that Caelan mingled with unwanted visitors, whom they called the 'demons.' So, turning him into the bad guy was not hard. Furthermore, when his innate magic was revealed, its unknown nature made him even more fearsome.
