Bab 63: Each To Their Secrets

They had climbed the upward path and now stood between the cliffs where a narrow path opened.

It was a dark and creepy path with fog, and creeping vines were everywhere. A thin but noticeable layer of pink mist appeared.

"The Pink Mist!" Jawne was shocked.

The two were shocked and quickly retreated.

"We have to get out of here!"

But Kin didn't move.

"Beastmaster Nick! Surely, you haven't heard of this rare phenomenon! No one, not even a Brayvion, can get out whenever the Pink Mist fills this place! Never enter the Deadlands when the Pink Mist is here!"

Nick had a confused look.

"That's odd. It shouldn't happen... Not now! It already happened months ago!" Kin was confused. He was familiar with this strange event and everyone knew that the Pink Mist would fill the Deadlands during the season of Sevil.

He glanced and thought for a while, unable to understand why this had appeared.
