Bab 177: Past Love ( IV )

Magnus ordered a maid to stay with Ophelia at all times and he tried to stay home as much as he could. Yet, he had duties in court. He was one of the leaders of the King's Guard, he couldn't simply vanish.

"Ophelia!" Magnus yelled, opening the doors. He was heaving. He had yet to even abandon his armor when he finally came across the scene.

"This fucking bitch! I know that you're trying to seduce him!" Ophelia yelled. She had tried to cut the maid's face with a piece of glass. Blood splattered to the ground, "And you!" She screamed at her son.

Asterias was curled up in a ball, in front of the poor maid. "YOU BETRAYED ME!" She lunged at her son but Magnus was faster, grabbing her wrist and forcing her to drop the piece of glass. She heaved, looking up at Magnus before smiling at him.

"Ophelia—"

"Magnus! You're back!" She happily exclaimed, "I missed you!"
