Bab 222: Burial (III)

"Princess," Evangeline said. In her hand was an Imperial letter. Helio hadn't even come to get her. Lumielle opened the letter, it was a summons. She scoffed. If the Emperor wanted to talk to her, then she would have hoped that it wouldn't be in such a weak manner. She tossed it into the fire. 

"Princess!" Evangeline exclaimed as Lumielle watched the fire consume the vellum. 

A smile split across her face. She would deal with Eldrige in a bit. She had wanted to write to Asterias after receiving silence. She tapped her finger against the desk, before she dealt with her personal relationships, she should deal with what was more imminent. "Did you send the letter to Lactia?" She questioned. 

Evangeline sighed, "It was shipped out early in the morning." Lumielle smiled, "Ah then, also, go run this to the Duke Everion." 

The dark-haired maid looked annoyed, "Princess..."
