"Yes, we do."

"I don't want to sleep here."

"..." The maid looked at her silently.

Norris pursed her lips and, displeased, walked into the room.

The maid said from outside the door, "If you need anything, just call us. We'll be downstairs."

Norris waved her hand, climbed into the bed with her back to the maid, pulled the quilt over herself, and lay there fully clothed.
