"The method to attain more power..." Sakamata Chloe lay down in fatigue as she muttered in fatigue.
In the past hour, she had been running an estimated distance of 30km in search of power.
Power to not be overtaken by her husband.
A power to be able to annihilate anyone that may stand in her way.
Inside the desert of conception with countless ways to attain powers, Chloe sought the powers that fitted her the most and failed numerous times.
'What is power... is it the strength to kill someone?... Is it the strength to protect something?... Karma... I want an answer...' Chloe's chest swayed up and down as she breathed.
Somehow, the girl who is the icon of strength, Shirasaki Karma's goal to catch up with, was jealous of his 'talent/adaptability.'
Countless 'negativity' played by Chloe's head.
'If I had Karma's out-of-world thinking...'
'If I had Shion's talent to be master at everything she's interested in...'
'!' Chloe raised her eyebrows before slapping her cheeks with her palms.
"Talents is often misunderstood but simply said, it is the outcome of your experience and hard work caused to your body," Chloe repeated what her husband said to her on a whim in the past.
"Through efforts, your experience will shimmer into your body, and such is the reason why you can easily learn skills related to your 'talent.'"
After cheering herself up and before standing, she detected a presence suddenly pop out on her detection radar.
"Isn't that what I said to you before? I thought you weren't listening at the time," from the direction of the presence Chloe felt, she heard the familiar voice.
Looking up at the source of the voice, Chloe could see the appearance of her changed husband whom one would tend to misunderstand due to the cold impression he brought.
That 'cold' husband of hers slightly reddened his face and the action he attempted to hide it shot Chloe's heart.
It may be slow and Chloe won't be changing her personality but the assassin that once reverberated her title in the underworld was growing up.
This time to attain a strength not to just kill.

The front reason I told my wife why I opened up my Twitter Account is "to share our daily to the public."

After this exchange, I messaged Chloe whether she want to come to meet Shion with me, and surprisingly or unsurprisingly, my wife rejected me.
