Hearing Johan's determination, Zeronos let out a huff that almost sounded like a laugh. "That's a bold thing to say, human. Very well then, I shall reward your bravery. You may ask me one question."

Johan was momentarily stunned, not expecting such an offer. "Wait, you're really letting me ask a question?" he asked, half in disbelief.

Zeronos nodded with dignity. "Yes. As a reciprocal gesture for the question I posed to you earlier, you have the right to ask me one thing in return."

Without hesitation, Johan looked directly at him with a sharp gaze, as if seeking the hidden truth. "In that case, would you tell me... why the Dragonia race, your kind, cast out one of their own bloodline to the distant continent?"
