Of the three supreme factions that ruled the first ring around the mountain, only two had participated in the hunt for Genma, Fudo and the rest. The two factions were the ones with three super guild teams each.

The first faction was made of the Illesha Clan, the middle-aged man's guild and another super guild. As for the second faction, they also contained notable figures of the gaming industry as well as three big super guilds, not lacking in influence and strength as compared to their rival three.

When the various teams that were led by the two factions made it past the region filled with traps, reaching almost halfway up the mountain, they noticed a thin barrier erected before them. The hemispherical barrier had a faint blue colour that was almost unnoticed if one didn't pay attention to it. It didn't look strong and felt more like a special effect.
