Leonid looked at himself, an elegant frown forming on his brows. "With how I no longer look like myself, I cannot blame you for not recognizing me-"

"Hey…" Thanh Van had finally turned his body towards the bloodsucker.

Despite everything, Thanh Van was lenient and kind - especially when Leonid Vladislav was an S-ranker with so much killing intent, he could immobilize Thanh Van with one arm alone.

Credit where credit was due.

Thanh Van beamed at the vampire, his emerald eyes softening a tad. "How about we start from a clean slate?"

The smile on the blood-red lips was charming, the two fangs almost cute. "Leonid, Leonid Vladislav."

"Leonid…" Thanh Van rolled the name on his tongue, trying to drag it out as sensually as the vampire had. "Leonid."

"Hm?"

"Fuck off."

The killing intent spiked, hair-raising, but Thanh Van didn't know who it was fuming from - and frankly, he didn't give a damn.
