Bab 1: Infinite Cheat System
Lu Fan looked at the floating screen in front of him and could not help but feel dazed for a moment.
Systems were somewhat an overused genre and he knew them well, but that did not mean that he believed that they existed.
First of all, he was not a reincarnated person, so there was no logical justification for getting a system. Golden fingers were meant for protagonists, with the way his life was going, there was no way in hell he was a protagonist.
It was wishful thinking just indulging in the immersion of novels, let alone hallucinating that it was happening to him.
But it was.
The screen floating in front of him was not going away no matter what he did.

The System is meant to give the host a myriad of cheats for reviewing. In exchange, the host can keep one feature of each system that the host reviews.
You don't want to keep a feature? That's fine too, the host can exchange it for an ability from the Simulated World.

"WTF!"
There were a lot of things that made him more confused and excited. His mind was telling him that everything was real but he dared not believe it. This was the stuff of his wet dreams.
He gingerly clicked on the button and a new page popped up.
[Congratulations for binding with the Infinite Cheat System.
Starter Pack:
World Simulation Module – This module lets the host experience different worlds as a simulation. The Simulated world and the real world are wholly separate and will not affect each other.
Infinite Storage – This module allows the host to have an infinite inventory. Note; The laws of time and space do not apply to this module. Items are stored in the form of Quantum Data. Meaning that the host can bring items to different worlds, but the items will be affected by the laws of the world. A magical item is no longer magical in a magicless world.
Status Window – This module will give the host an overview of his state. Please note that this module will follow the power systems already in place in the simulated world.

"What sort of starter pack is this? There is nothing here that has benefitted me directly?"
While Lu Fan said this with a solemn face, he was secretly overjoyed inside. There was no helping it. A system was a system no matter what. Even if it was just a useless screen, as a weeb, it was enough to fap on for a long time.
Having read thousands of novels, he knew what the introduction meant.
The Infinite Storage was Infinite and Timeless. He did not need to worry about things going bad, or even running out of space. Quantum Data meant that it used the approach of technology and science to store things in the form of data, or this module would have contradicted the World Simulation Module.
The World Simulation Module was just that, it simulated the world that he could visit. There were three options for a simulated world and the first option was a run-through.
A run-through meant that only a part of his soul and DNA were required to enter the simulation and create an avatar and he would receive logs of what happened inside. No matter how long the simulation took, only a second would pass in the real world. The only thing that would take time was going through the logs.
This first option had its downside though, he could not use any cheats, and as compensation, he could choose five items to bring back to the real world through the simulation module.
The Infinite Storage would not be accessible in this mode so he was also helpless.
The second option was a Partial Dive where he would only experience important events at specific times. The Module was in full control over which events it deemed important and he just had to endure it.
The upside was that his cheats would be available to him and he could store things in the Infinite Storage when his consciousness took over.
The only thing that made him unwilling was that if he missed to store something when a run-through was ongoing, he could only regret it.
The third was a full dive. This was pretty straightforward. He would live a whole different life as his avatar and experience every moment of it. There were no restrictions on this except that he did not have his real-world strength simulated and could only use the avatar's identity.
Items that could be stored in his Infinite Storage were his advantage and he did not have to account for them, but he might also not be able to use them.
The simulation would only end if he died and depending on his performance, he could keep a few items and skills at the expense of a system module.
His performance was rated as;
EX – This meant that he had conquered the world and become the World Lord. Such a world would become his personal property and he come and go as he pleases. At that time he could keep everything he got and still get his module from the cheat review.
SSS – meant that he could keep five items and a module. These five items were not restricted and he could even summon people from said world. These summons were in his absolute control. This made him feel at ease.
SS – Meant that he could get four items and a module.
S- meant he could keep 3 items and a module
A – 2 items and a module
B – an item and a module
C – meant that he could keep an item or a module.
D – meant that he could only keep a module.
Anything lower than that was not worth mentioning. He could only write a review about his cheating and shallow his regret.
The World Simulation Module only allowed him to simulate the same world three times using the three different modes and Lu Fan was glad of this… advantage.
It could not be helped. His excitement was understandable and this feature made his ambitions soar. He did not need to be as cautious about visiting some of the dangerous worlds out there. At most, just go for another round. He did not believe that he would fail to get even a D rating after 3 tries no matter how dangerous it was.
This was especially true since the rating system from D – A was based on survival time. S – EX were the more challenging operations.
As for attachments and all that, the system took care of it. All the memories would just be another video in the archive when he was done.
The experience was still there, but the impact and emotional value would be dulled down to a negligible value. Other things did not matter.

"What do you mean 'None'? I obviously know how to… how to… pft trash."
Lu Fan could not find anything. He even started wondering how he managed to feed himself for so long. Well, he was still in college and could call home for some pocket money, but it was somewhat embarrassing now that he thought about it.
A grown man with no skill whatsoever to feed himself? Trash indeed.
His stats were intriguing, however. This module followed the power system of the world he was in at present and that meant that Earth only cared about how strong your body was, how attractive and charismatic you were, and how many skills you were proficient in. Anything else was just an illusory mist that held no practical value.
Money for example was a good thing, but if you were not physically fit, all of it might be used in the hospital and medication. If you were not charming enough, people might smile and flatter you in the open, but it was still unknown what they truly thought behind your back. Hell, they were likely scheming and looking for opportunities to take your money.
If you are not skilled, that money might just kill you. Money does not mix with incompetence and ignorance least it becomes poison.
These were things that Lu Fan remembered well. His father would spend hours preaching to him and even telling him stories to drive home this point. It was yet to be known whether they were true or he just had an imaginative mind, but either way, these truths held water.
His mother only cared for his well-being and when he would bring home a girl to give her a grandson to raise. Sometimes he wondered whether she was fattening him as a breeder.
