Bab 96: Chapter 96: A call about death

As Yohan emerged from the bathroom, he made his way into the living room. The sight that greeted him was one of domestic bliss - or so it seemed at first glance. Spread out across the table were an array of delectable treats: macarons in every color imaginable, creamy cheesecakes glistening under the lights, and golden red bean pancakes still steaming slightly.

Landon sat reclined on the couch, nibbling contentedly on a macaron as crumbs dusted his lap. Jed lounged nearby with a satisfied expression while savoring bites of sticky-sweet red bean pancake. Nathan's whereabouts remained elusive for now; but judging by the rich aroma wafting from the kitchen, it appeared he had retreated there to brew up some fresh coffee.

Kian rounded out this peculiar tableau, seated cross-legged on the couch with his tablet propped up before him. He seemed utterly engrossed in whatever was displayed upon its screen - but he instantly looked up as Yohan stepped into the room.
