"Do you all know that stealing is a crime?" Rise reprimanded, although it sounded absurd. 

Yes, stealing was a crime, but inside the gate, it was common. Most of all, this was coming from Rise, who for everyone around had the least credibility when talking about the law. 

Even Kamille suddenly glanced at Rise. Everyone was just speechless, especially as he shamelessly went on. 

"These mana stones ownership naturally fell to the one who discovered them. That's the rule, am I right? Tsk, tsk, you wild espers, never follow the rules!" 

It was wild to hear these from the person who would most likely not follow the rules.
