Bab 8: Chapter 08
— 1.5 years later after Ban left glory city.
Holy Orchid Institute, Fighter Apprentice class.
Few students were discussing softly among themselves.
"I heard that the new teacher, Shen Xiu, is one of the Sacred Family's 3-star Silver rank Demon Spiritualists!"
The attention of the students was focused on the teacher in the front. She had a tall figure, she was wearing a lavender dress that wrapped tightly around her body, giving an emphasis of her perky chest. She had a pair of slender, white legs, and wore exquisite make-up that made her look beautiful and elegant. Her eyes were full of pride and arrogance. The Sacred Family is one of the three Major families of Glory City. Because she is of noble birth, and a 3-star Silver rank Demon Spiritualist at that, she naturally has the capital to be prideful.
As a 3-star Silver rank Demon Spiritualist, she wouldn't normally come here to teach. She only agreed to because her nephew is in this class.
"Demon Spiritualists and Fighters have five different ranks, which are: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Black Gold and Legend rank. Each rank is then divided into five levels, from 1-star to 5-star.
A Demon Spiritualist is above a Fighter. We are a truly noble existence. A Demon Spiritualist can form a soul realm within their dantian. They have the ability to integrate a captured demon into their soul realm and then merge with the demon in combat. This allows them to possess matchless strength, which is far above the strength Fighters could compete with." Shen Xiu raised her chin and spoke arrogantly, "Just like me, my demon is a Scarlet Flame Fox."
Suddenly, Shen Xiu's face and hands underwent drastic changes. Her facial shape became sharper, her teeth and nails also became sharper. Finally, a scarlet tail emerged from her back.
While she continued with her lecture.
Xiao Ning'er feels a gaze on her, normally this would not bother her, after all, she is used to having people looking at her (boys ogling her), but this look, it's somehow different.
Similarly Ziyun also felt that gaze and looked towards Ning'er, they both looked at each other eyes and nodded their head and looked back. They saw a organge haired kid looking towards their direction...there wasn't lust in his eyes but it felt very weird.
'Hm? Isn't that guy Nie li, he is looking at Ziyun.' Ning'er thought when she noticed his gaze wasn't on her but on Ziyun.
When Ziyun met his eyes she quickly turned back, " That Nie li guy is weird, isn't he Ning'er?" she mumbled towards her friend which she finally got back a year before.
"Yea...I felt his gaze on me before but just now he was completely checking you..." Ning'er said with an smile trying to tease her friend.
Ziyun turned a little embarrassed, "Ohh come on....don't tease me, and didn't you say you already had a guy you liked. When are you gonna introduce him to me." Ziyun asked her.
"I don't know...what you are talking about." She said trying to avoid her eyes, but their was sadness in her voice. 'Its already been more than a year, When are you coming back Ban. Did you forget our promise.' She thought as she looked at her bracelet which Ban gifted her and caressed it.
Ziyun who looked at her friends face, knew she touched a soft topic and didn't pursue it further.
She didn't want to lose her friend again because of she saying something wrong. 'Yes, this time I'll not lose my friend.' she thought resolutely.
Then both stayed silent, Ziyun focused on the lecture, meanwhile Ning'er was lost in thoughts.
Nie Li POV:
Nie Li looked towards the side and saw familiar faces: Lu Piao and Du Ze. These brothers that had shared life and death with him are alive, except their appearances were very immature.
And her, Nie Li looked towards the left. A few meters away from him, a beautiful flawless face came into his field of vision. Her name is Ye Ziyun. Although her appearance is only thirteen-fourteen years old, she already looked slender and elegant with purple colored hair pouring down to her waist. She had arched eyebrows, and an intelligent radiance was seen within her eyes. Whenever she smiled, she would have deep dimples.
'Hm? Something's different? Why is She sitting with Xiao Ning'er, as far as I remember Xiao Ning'er stopped talking to her After her arranged marriage was decided. And by the looks of it they look quite close.' he thought as he looked towards Xiao Ning'er, Even though he didn't have any feelings towards her he still appreciated her body figure, and checked her out.
Both the girls then turned towards him and looked at him, 'Ohh they noticed my gaze, it's not like they can notice i was checking them out.'
When he locked his eyes with Ziyun she quickly turned, 'Awww how cute is She.' he smiled at that.
POV end.
He then also continued Talking with his brothers ignoring the lecture.
Nie Li, what are you smiling at?" Lu Piao asked, looking puzzled at Nie Li. He was wondering if he was crazy since he was giggling by himself for quite some time and was even staring at Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning'er with a lecherous look.
"Just being happy! I'm happy to see you, good brother!" Nie Li stated as he excitedly hugged Lu Piao. It's a habit from his previous life.
Soon because of the things Shen Xiu said, their argument started and similar to manga it took place.
"One day, sooner or later!"
"I Nie Li, will be the greatest Spiritualist in the world!"
All students who sat in class were shocked at Nie Li's words of declaration. Even Shen Xiu was surprised by his confidence. However, all the students who were still shocked by Nie Li's words began to focus their gaze on the classroom door which began to slowly open.
From the door a young person around 13-14, with strange clothes appearing before students.
"Sorry for coming late, is the class over?" Ban Asked with a calm look.
As if destroying the Atmosphere. Ban began to appear before the students with his different clothes and shoes. He was wearing natsu from fairy tail clothes with right hand sleevless....but was bandaged instead.
He stood at 6"2 feet...far taller than anyone present in the classroom.
Even Shen Xiu was surprised from his sudden appearance but was blushing hard from the aura and manliness he excuded.
At that time, everyone was very confused. Many whispered about 'Who is he?', 'Have you ever seen him?', 'Is he a new student here?', And many more stuff were discussed by all students, resulting in a fairly noisy sound. Before being stopped by Shen Xiu.
The most Shocked was a brownish orange haired beauty who wasn't even able to react whens she heard that Voice.
And by the sudden shout from Shen Xiu to calm the students she came out of her reverie and without thinking of anything, She flash stepped and appeared in front of Ban.
"Is..Is that really you Ban?" She asked almost choking...when he left she didn't realize it but after not seeing him for so long she realised that she liked him and seeing him suddenly....made her so happy that she couldn't describe it in words.
"Ohh Ning'er you have really grown to be very beautiful. How are you doing btw." he smiled when he saw Ning'er who was almost was going to burst in tears.
"It's really you...you came back." She smiled the most beautiful smile she had shown ever and jumped in his embrace wrapping her hand around him.
"I missed you so much, I thought you would not come back." She muttered under his chest which only he could hear.
Meanwhile the whole class had their mouth wide open, except four people.
Nie li eyes were almost Popping out, Shen Xiu had major blow to her pride for unknown reasons, Ziyun was hard to describe as to what facial expression she was making (the one when girls find that her best friend had an extremely hot and sexy bf...) and Shen Yue was angry as he felt that Xiao Ning'er was cheating behind her brother.
