Bab 76: Shut Up, Harry

Roman was swept along by his best friend as usual, all thoughts of that strange phone call out of his head because of Harry's chatter about a girl he had met recently and gone on a few dates with. 

No surprise. He changed girlfriends like a runway model changed clothes. 

He was always faithful when he was in a relationship but the moment he lost interest, he broke things off and found someone else. He was doomed to be an eternal bachelor. 

Not that Roman had any room to talk. They were both thirty and his relationship with his girlfriend was going nowhere. Leslie was nice enough but he didn't feel any happier with her than he did without her after more than two years of dating. 

Wasn't love supposed to be more than that? His expectations going into the handful of relationships he'd had weren't terribly high because he had never truly loved or been loved.
