Cu "I have no idea what I just ate but dame was it good! You sure you don't want any thing?"

Penny "Positive. And I'm glad you're feeling better, now"

Cu "Whelp I still have no idea where I am or how I got here, but at least the first person I met was a pretty girl"

Penny "But I thought I was the first person to locate you!"

Cu "Penny… I was referring to you"

Penny "you… you think I'm pretty?"

Cu "it's not even a thought and more of a fact"

Penny "no, I mean… I know that going by common aesthetical I may be considered attractive"

Penny "It's just… No one has ever said that to me"

Cu "you can not be serious"

Penny shakes her head and lowers her gaze, her cheeks acquiring a healthy flush as she suddenly hinds her fingers very interesting

Cu "… well you are very pretty Penny"

Penny "Thanks. Uhm, your… Pretty too?"

Cu "hehehe, I believe the term for men is "Handsome" Penny"

Penny "then your very handsome"

We descend into a comfortable silence… before I'm looking at the sky "Cu!!!". I look down at my self and see my body being pulled by a purple tentacle? I'm flipped and twisted through the air

??? "And what do we have here?"

Why the hell is this woman attacking me with a riding crop

??? "You gave me a lot of trouble, young man. What kind of trick were you using to mask your aura?"

Cu "Don't really know"(already unlocked aura)

??? "Hmmm… no matter. We'll have plenty of time to uncover that"

??? "Now, let's make you more easier for transportation"

She extends her hand towards me I let her to simply see what she'll do and I have Magic resistance C

??? "What-"

Penny "Please, stop"

Cu "Penny?"

Penny is grabbing the women's wrist

Penny "Please let him go! He's done nothing wrong!"

??? "Unhand me this instant, young lady."

Penny "I'm terribly sorry but I can't do that!"

Oh Penny, polite to the end

??? "Because?"

Penny "Because you're going to knock Cu unconscious and take him to an unknown location!"

??? "That was my intention, yes"

The woman is frowning pretty hard. She suddenly snatches her hand away from Penny's grip. Penny responds by standing between the woman and me

??? "And I guess if you're so eager to share the blame, you can share his fate as well."

So me and Penny standing over your defeated body, … cool. But you just threaten my savior and that's not with out consequences.

Suddenly a red beam flew past the woman surprising. I grabbed Gae Bolg and cut the tentacle before pointing Gae Bolg at the women

Cu "You know I can deal with a lot of sh*t. But the moment you threaten my friend and savor, well then we have a problem"

Penny "Cu! I can take care of this. You just stay back"

Cu "I know you can that's why were BOTH fighting together"

A look of realization crosses Penny's face before she said "I'm combat ready"

??? "Are you now"

A tense silence descends on the street before

*phone rings*

??? "Of all times…"

??? "Ozpin, I'm in the middle of something"

Scroll "You're in the middle of starting a international incident"

??? "Excuse me?"

Scroll "The young lady who's so bravely confronting you in a special protégé of the general."

Penny "Salutations"

Penny just marry me

??? "She's still interfering"

Scroll "I noticed Glynda"

Her staie bores into me, evaluating me like I'm something she picked off the side walk… Well I guess it's kind of true, isn't it.

Cu "I'm totally defenseless"

Glynda "But I can't just let him go if he's involved with the meteor crash in the market"

Scroll "Of course not. What you can do is bring them to me"

Glynda "Which I was going to do?"

Scroll "By asking them to come along, Glynda. I may understand your irritation at having to repave the streets but I don't think these children deserve an iron fist because of that."

Yeah, fu*k you lady

Glynda "…we'll be right there"

*hangs up*

Glynda "What's your name, child? And I believe you are called Penny, young lady?"

Penny "yes ma'am, and his mane is Cu Chulainn"

Cu "Why is your weapon a riding crop"

She ignores my question and introduces herself

My name is Glynda Goodwhich. I'm a staff member at Beacon Academy and-"

Penny "Beacon Academy? Then maybe you know Ruby!"

Glynda "*sigh* Of course someone willing to fight a full fledged huntress would be an acquaintance of that girl"

Glynda "Please follow me to my transport. The headmaster wishes to talk to the both of you"

Penny "You're not going to detain Cu anymore, then"

Cu "*whisper* like she could"

Glynda "That depends on him and his actions, of course. But I guess we should give him the opportunity to explain himself"

Cu "Sure, why not"

This feels like it's going to be a pain in the ass. But as long as I'm with my savior I don't care where we go

Cu "You ever been to school, Penny"

Penny "No, I haven't been to Beacon Academy yet. I was supposed to visit it for the first time in about 6 months"

Cu "But it's the most famous combat academy in all of Remnant, training the best Huntsman and Huntress of the world"

Cu "cool… by the way is there anywhere I can fight"

Penny "well, I guess you could fight the Grimm"

Cu "awesome… I'm going to do that later. By the way were are we going"

Penny simply points out the window

I walk over to the window to see a giant castle

Cu "that's not a school that's a castle"

Penny "Oooooh! I think I can see Ruby from here- ah no it was just a large bird"

Glynda "The school is currently on break before the start of the next semester. The majority of students are not on campus right now"

Glynda "Which means it'll be much easier to get you to the headmaster unnoticed"

Headmasters office

Glynda "I'm back Ozpin"

Ozpin "So I see. Welcome to Beacon academy, children. I'm Ozpin, the headmaster"

For a headmaster he is surprisingly young looking

Ozpin "And this is general Ironwood. I believe Penny is already acquainted with him."

… I could beat him

Penny "ehm… Good morning, sir."

Gen Ironwood "It seems one can't take his eyes of you for more than five minutes without you taking in some stray, Penny"

I will kick your ass, and did you just refer to me as a stray dog

Glynda "Penny was the first one on the scene, general. She also witnessed the events immediately prior the crash and was in town the whole morning"

Glynda "Frankly, I don't think we could have asked for a better witness and: she helped protect mister Chulainn from my lapse in judgment"

If Penny wasn't there you would have a hole in your chest

Cu "well so far Penny's been great to me"

Gen Ironwood "You misunderstand me. Penny's character was never in the question."

Gen Ironwood "I just find it curious how she can't seem to help but form relationships with… Peculiar characters"

Now every one's looking at me. I have half the mind to give them the middle finger, but I am the guy that's born from a meteor

Ozpin "so, Penny. Can you tell us how your morning went?"

Glynda "from start to finish, with anything that comes to mind. Any detail, no matter how small, could be important."

Huh what's he smiling about all of a sudden

Penny "every detail"

Ozpin "if you would please"

Penny "well… the sky was pretty clear"

Ozpin "alright, and what-"

Penny "The environment temperature was 24 degrees Celsius in the shade and 28 in the sun but the light breeze coming from the north-east brought the actual perceived temperature to 24 Celsius anyway. Uv amount was acceptable but I wouldn't have advised staying to long to possessors of sensitive epidermis."

Penny "The meteoroid appeared in the sky around 10:34 am, Vale timezone. I was alerted I was alerted to its presents by the vocal reaction of one of the citizens with the exact words 'HOLY DUST, WHAT IS THAT?!'"

Ozpin "…I see. Then-"

Penny "The size of the meteoroid was around two meters in diameter. I'm I couldn't get a better estimate but the distance in the sky and the speed at which it traveled left me unable to get a proper reading on the object which crashed into the market area at 10:36 am."

Penny "I was worried about possibility of injured people so directed my self to the extrapolated point of impact post-haste and managed to precede police officers both human and robot and discovered…"

Penny "…and that's when we arrived at this location."

Ozpin "I see. Thanks for your exhaustiveness, Penny"

That didn't even faze him in the slightest

Penny "my pleasure, headmaster…"

Ozpin "Now, mister Chulainn. Do I understand from Penny's story that you possess no memory or awareness of Remnant as a whole?"

How the hell did he get that out of THAT!

Cu "Pretty much. My memories are a mess. I remember bits and pieces like how to use a spear and that mine is special. And that I should NEVER use my semblance. Also I had no idea you could snatch people out of the air with a riding crop"

Cu "… it's kinda cool"

Gen Ironwood "what is the last thing you remember?"

Cu "I was leaning into a tree… I think. Then there was darkness, then I was in a crater and met Penny"

Penny "he was wearing torn up clothes"

Glynda "And someone turned him into a make shift projectile… sounds preposterous."

Gen Ironwood "Hmmm…"

Ozpin "You seem to have a theory, James"

Gen Ironwood "He's not lying or if he is he's the best liar I've ever met"

Gen Ironwood "So, either the impact knocked the memories out of him, so to speak…"

Glynda "Ro someone removed then."

…Huh

Ozpin "It does seem to be the most plausible explanation"

I turned and meet Penny's gaze. She seems to share my surprise

Cu "… who the fu*k takes someone's memories, puts them in a meteor and chucks them into a city."

Glynda "Also how did it get past the barrier?"

Ozpin "those are questions that need to be answered, indeed. But I don't see us getting to them in the course of the day"

Ozpin "So for the time being I would like the both of you to stay in Beacon"

Cu "were ever Penny's going I'm following"

Gen Ironwood "Both of them, Ozpin?"

Ozpin "Penny is the first bond mister Chulainn made after his awakening, James. If his memories have actually been tampered with I think it's important to give him as many anchors to the real world as possible, in preparation for when they'll go back to normal."

Ozpin "Also, I understand you're worried about Penny's interactions. Beacon is certainly a more controlled environment than Vale, no?"

Gen Ironwood "Granted. But-"

Ozpin "Unless, there's something else you're not sharing with us which may constitute an impediment, I don't see any reason why miss Penny shouldn't be allowed to spend the semester here at Beacon"

Whelp isn't this something I don't want to be a part of

…*sigh*

Gen Ironwood "I guess there is none"

Penny "*gasp* general… really?"

Gen Ironwood "as long as you behave"

Penny "O-Of course! I will I will be good, general!"

Penny "Thank you so much!"

*thumbs up*

Gen Ironwood "Hmmm… If that's all, I guess I should inform Penny's father of the new arrangements."

Gen Ironwood "I will also have one of my teams inspect the location of the crash. No offense, Glynda."

Glynda "none taken, but I shall accompany you"

Penny "Thank you, headmaster! A thousand thanks!!"

Ozpin "Don't thank me yet, children. I said I'd like you to stay at the school but… There are conditions."

Penny "Conditions!"

Ozpin "Despite your particular situation, this is still an academy for Huntsman and huntress. To stay at Beacon you will need to prove that you have the potential to stand at there side and learn"

… Alright, that's easy

Penny "Headmaster… while I have confidence in my ability's, I doubt that this is a reasonable request for Cu. He's forgotten most of his memories"

Cu "Whatever I'll fight who ever you want me to, AND kick there ass"

Ozpin "If you're so confident then the exam will be on Sunday"

Cu and Penny leave

Cu "So… were hear to test my combat abilities"

Penny "Affirmative"

Cu "all then let's get this show on the road"

Floating swords appear around Penny and Gae Bolg appears in my hand

A while later

Penny "You are quite fast I haven't even hit you once so far"

Cu 'Well I do have protection from arrows B and my agility is A rank. Plus even the weakest heroic spirit is ten times stronger than the average human and I am not the weakest heroic spirit'

Penny "I think that's enough, you did great Cu!"

I look up at the sky to see that it's sundowns

Cu "Well want to see what the room the headmaster has for us"

Penny "Yes it is rather late so we should get going"
