THREE YEARS AGO. 

NICK'S POV.

"Hey what's got you sulking?" Miles comes to sit beside me at our usual hang out.

I had just come from my dad's office and I met him fucking his secretary.

What a great sight it was. 

"I found my dad cheating again." I say angrily. 

"Why not get rid of him like I did with mine?" 

"What?" I turn to him.

"I said why not get out of the house like I did?" He says. 

"I can't. My dad has me on a tight leash." I groan 

"I'm sure you want out don't you?" He asks.

"I'd do anything to get out of that man's clutches." 

"Listen my man" He puts his hand around my shoulder. "I work for a very intelligent man. And I'd like it if you come join."

"And just what kind of work do you do?" I ask him.

"You know, the kind that are involved with smuggling goods and selling for higher price, beating up peeps, and the likes."
