Bab 23: Demi-Human
"I'm Satou Sakie, nice to meet you..."
"Kusanagi Jun."
"Ah, so its Jun kun, what a nice name." She smiled.
"Yeah..."
'What a strange woman, if it weren't for the fact that she wore glasses and had her hair tied back in that style, she'd be a knockout... And then there's that strange aroma coming off of her body... its enticing...'
5 minutes had passed since Sakie had first talked to Sakura. Currently her and Jun were sitting away from the group and were introducing themselves. He felt that there was something off about her and didn't want Sakura or Daruku to be too close to her in case she tried anything.
He even went a step further by activating his mystic eyes when she wasn't looking just to see if there was anything about her that stood out. Unfortunately she seemed like any other human. So besides feeling slightly light headed he didn't feel any hostility coming from her.
*Sigh*
'Acting like a child really isn't my thing.'
"Satou san-
"Please call me Sakie." She interrupted.
"....Okay, Sakie-san what-
Placing her fingers on his lips she smiled and shook her head.
"Just Sakie." She smiled.
*Sigh*
'How annoying.'
"Sakie, what is that aroma coming off you?"
"WHAT!"
Surprised at the question, her eyes widened as she stared at the serious face of the little boy.
"W-Who are you!" She asked raising her guard.
'Hmm... That seemed to razzle her.'
Smiling at her reaction, Jun put on a calm facade and activated his mystic eyes which freaked her out.
A wave of terror over came her as she stared into those beautiful bluish eyes that radiated death. Her body trembled and her mouth suddenly went dry as the hairs on the back of her neck straightened. Every fiber of her body was telling her to run but under the glare of those eyes, her body refused to listen to her.
"WW-What are you." She struggled to say.
Deactivating his mystic eyes, Sakie felt her breath return to her as large beads of sweat dampened her clothes.
"I'm just your ordinary 6 year old on vacation with his family." He smiled.
"Now miss Satou, please sit back down, you're drawing attention to yourself."
Looking around the train, Sakie saw that everyone was looking in her direction.
'Oh shit!! Its the sweat!!'
"I-I need to use the restroom."
Without waiting for him to respond, she quickly disappeared down the corridor and into the bathroom.
Watching her run caused Jun to smile in amusement. He had no doubt in his mind that she would return. After all his mystic eyes scared her to the point that she wouldn't dare try to anger him.
"Tokyo huh... I wish I watched more anime to know what to expect there... Oh well, I'll deal with what comes."

'What the hell is he!!'
Splashing water on her face, Sakie felt her heart race when she thought back to those beautiful eyes of his.
'Those eyes...'
Wiping the water off her face, she took in a breath of air and tried to calm her rampaging heart beat.
'What am I going to do...'
Looking at the door, she had the brief thought of just waiting in here until the train arrived at Tokyo station.
She quickly got rid of that thought once she realized that trapping herself in an enclosed space was probably the worst thing to do when she had someone after her.

"Feeling better?" Jun asked.
Sitting down opposite him, Sakie's face was expressionless as she merely nodded her head.
"Good. Now miss Satou, would you mind telling me what exactly you are?"
Keeping her head lowered, she quietly answered him in a very reserved way.
"A succubus."
'Oh?'
"Like the demon?" He asked surprised that he couldn't feel any type of demonic energy off her.
She shook her head and answered.

"So its basically a mutation in your genes?"
Nodding her head, Sakie stayed silent.
The short of it was that although she was a called a succubus, she was basically just a human. Apparently in our society there are special individuals who are born with mutated genes that give them extra qualities that normal humans don't have. Sakie for example is basically just a human but due to her mutated genes her body secretes a natural scent that stimulates the pleasure area in the brain of a male. Apparently its so strong that even small children who have yet to hit puberty are slightly affected. That's why Jun and Daruku were both feeling light headed.
Due to her genes, she was also born quite pretty and apparently shes naturally erotic. Because of this, she dresses as plainly as possible to avoid attracting attention to herself. And the only reason she got on this train that was packed full of males is because she overslept this morning and missed the early one.
"So what other types of... What does the government you guys call yourselves again?"
"Demi-humans."
"Yeah, so what other types of demi-humans are there?"
"Apparently there are vampires, snow women, dullhans etc."
"Dullahan? Like the headless horseman?"
She nodded her head in reply.
'Dullahan? I wonder if Celty is a thing in this world?'
If she was, wouldn't that mean that all the characters in Durarara would also be there? Not that he particularly cared about any of them. The only thing that caught his interest was the demon sword Saika.
But that would be for another time.
"Since dullahans exist, why is it that I haven't heard demi-humans before?"
Sighing at the question Sakie removed her glasses and massaged her temples.
"The world sees us a myths and legends. If I accidentally touch a man and cause him to go find a prostitute to ****, do you think his wife and children will believe him if he said it was because of a succubus? Or because he's a cheating horn dog that couldn't keep it in his pants?"
"I can see where you're going with this but, how the hell do you explain a dullahan?"
"Special effects."
"What if they see the person in real life?" Jun asked.
"Very good special effects." Sakie answered.
"Then what about demi-human vampires? Don't they burn in the sun or feast on blood?"
"Not really, besides being slightly anemic and having slightly longer cainines than normal people, they're pretty much identical to the average human."
'So they aren't anything special... Noted.'
"Okay, but what about Snow women? Can't they make ice appear out of thin air or something? How do you explain that when normal people see it?"
"Magic tricks."
"...."
*Sigh*
"Humans are idiots..." He mumbled to himself.
"Erm... Jun kun." Sakie suddenly called out.
"Hmm?"
"Well... since you asked me a lot of questions, I-I was wondering if you could answer some of mine?"
Keeping her head lowered, her voice shook as she asked him that question.
"I would say yes, but it appears that we're at our destination." Jun said looking out the window.
"Huh?"
Turning towards the window, Sakie noticed that the train was pulling into the station.
Getting up from his seat, Jun did a small bow before walking away.
"Thank you for your time miss Satou."
