Bab 48: Chapter 48: Worry

“How are you feeling?” Logan asked when I walked out of the dressing room.

I lifted one shoulder. “Much better now. I think that nap really helped.” I sat on the vanity stool and slipped in my earrings. “But I’m worried about my parents and my brother.”

His expression suddenly turned serious. “What’s wrong?”

“When I called Seven to invite him and our parents to the party tonight, he said he was alone in the restaurant.” I let out a deep breath. “Seven always gets there first to open up, but then Dad arrives before the restaurant opens. But today, Dad never showed.”

Logan placed his hands on my shoulders, looking at me in the mirror. “I’m sure it’s nothing serious. Would you like me to send a car over to check on them?”

I shook my head. “No, if something was wrong, Seven would let me know.” I looked down at my phone and sighed. “I’ll try calling Mom again. Maybe she was in the shower or something and didn’t hear the phone.”
