Bab 123: Oh My, It's Scary

The spikes pierced the soles of many people's feet and legs until they were bloody.

The worst thing was that these spikes attacked continuously.

As long as someone stood on it, the densely packed spikes would surge out from the ground.

"Get back, get back."

Besides the screams, someone was giving reminders.

The quick-witted guards took a step back immediately and retreated out of the attack range in time.

Most of the guards were slow to react and were stabbed several times when they sensed that they should retreat.

Many of them had their calves pierced by the spikes until only bones were left.

There were about a hundred people injured in this wave.

After being pierced, they began to feel dizzy and weak.

They fell to the ground weakly and couldn't even stand up, much less pick up their weapons to fight.

Upon seeing this, the timid guards began to retreat.

"Humph, it's just a small trick."
