Franchette's POV

I heard banging on my door in the middle of darkness. It was almost four o'clock in the morning, as I squinted to look at my wrist watch resting on the nightstand. I must have dozed off at nine o'clock. Sleeping time in the province is quite earlier than usual. I groggily stood and walked towards my locked door where another set of loud banging resounded.

"Okay-Okay, I'm up already." I muttered unlocking the knob and opening it. Much to my surprise, Queencie, with a disheveled look almost knocked on my face. "Hey, easy! What the heck? It's four A.M." I was always cranky when I didn't get much sleep. Heck, I'm better with no sleep at all.
