I was an anomaly. That was how my mother described me as she kicked me out of our family home shouting of how big of a disgrace I was. It wasn't my fault that I have a different preference. Would it be sin to finally come out as someone who would love a person with the same gender? My mother kicked me out on my graduation as an Aviator, because I refused a marriage proposal from one of the biggest business magnates in the Philippines. It was dishonorable she said, to have me a lesbian as a daughter.

I've been living alone in my apartment since. Funny, I was attracted to girls. But I never really tried to pursue them. There was something hindering me from ever trying to have a relationship. I was happy alone. It's a bit crazy when I'm with friends. But I was content with my books when I wasn't flying.
