Bab 66: Normal Lunch

"Hey, hey, Haru." Daichi hovered beside me as we made our way to the cafeteria. "Are you friends with the Dragon?"

Yeah. That question was to be expected.

"Yep." I nodded with a forced smile. Daichi's mouth formed an "o" before he continued.

"How'd you become friends? Weren't you scared of him?" Even though he was the one asking, I could tell the others were listening in very closely.

"Uh, well, I was forced to tutor him, and we just kind of became friends from there." I shrugged. "And, yeah, he's scary, but once he opens up to you, he's not so bad. He's actually really nice." I said nonchalantly.

After I finished speaking, I realized I left the group behind. I turned around to see they froze and were staring at me like I was insane but also godly. "Uh—"

"Haha, you see what I mean?" Akira directed the question at the trio and chuckled.

The three nodded in sync.
