Bab 54: Situation

I sighed to myself, wiping the sweat off my brows with the back of my hand before realising a weight around my waist. I furrowed my brows in confusion, peering downwards as my gaze landed on a sleeping Orion.

"Hey, why did you fall asleep too?" I gave him a light chop on the forehead, although he didn't respond and only mumbled in his sleep as he snuggled closer.

I pushed Orion's head off my lap, placing the pillow in his arms instead as I watched him hug it instead before climbing off the bed. For someone who was only meant to accompany me and drop me off at the infirmary, he sure is making full use of the 'reliable helper' card.

I shook my head in disapproval, though my expression showed not a shred of negative emotions but rather a more relaxed one. In fact, his peaceful expression in his deep slumber calmed the erratic heart beat from that nightmare... or was it more accurate to put it as the original outline the story was meant to progress in?
