Bab 143: A Lesson To Be Learnt

The walk to Orion's bike felt like a death sentence as he was awfully silent, especially since he was acting completely chummy when he initially called me. Now, the silence hung heavy and I felt like I was walking on eggshells as he hadn't turned to face me even after leaving Dylan's apartment.

"O-Orion... Are you angry with me...?" I asked him nervously, my voice trembling from the idea of upsetting him as I had to live in the same apartment with him and that it would feel terrible for the both of us to go home while completely at odds with one another. Especially now when it was just the both of us living in that place.

I just wanted to keep the house gift a secret. Just until Cain returns so I can give it to them at the same time... I guess it was also my fault for blindly following Dylan home to find out about his aesthetics and interests... But when else would I see it if not then!?
