"So each event helped to deepen the relationship between each of the characters. I stayed at the palace to offer emotional support to Esai as he 'dated' the women and it was really sweet. Esai didn't know who to choose and then the ladies started to show their true colours during the Harvest festival..." Calder wrote then paused.
"So that was the forth event that pretty much sealed the last event. What was the last event that triggered the blood bath?" Calder asked himself. "Oh crap! I died, it was my death!"
Esai called everyone to breakfast and Calder felt touched. His brother wanted to help him so much but Calder couldn't get last night's thoughts out of his head. He stared at both ladies making things awkward rather than comfortable and inviting.
"In the novel the ladies started to become cut throat with each other after Esai sleeps with them. They tried to one up with one another in an attempt to get Esai's attention. Esia unlocked Lady Britille's hidden secret because of his mischievous personality. She was a hardcore dominatrix who enjoyed making Esai submit to her... Hard to picture when she's right in front of me." Calder thought. With a heavy sigh he turned his gaze to Lady Syria.
"While Lady Syria is a sex fiend. Copping a feel on Esai whenever she had the chance but the moment he reacted to her teasing she ran away. Later on you find out that Lady Syria is actually a very pure hearted girl, deep, deep, deep, DEEP down inside." Calder thought. "But then again Lady Syria is a giant sh*t disturber. Her bluntness got her into so much trouble that Esai used her as a major stress reliever. He would hide away and laugh as she assaulted people with her words." Calder thought.
"To be toyed with or play with a toy. Why did Mei have to come up with such drastically different characters? I've been toyed with enough my entire life but then again my personality is nothing like Esai's... I might not even unlock Lady Britille's wild side since I can't even think of doing something like BDSM.... but then again Lady Syria is, is, i-i-i-i-i-sssss... *error, error, can't compute* Damn can't think." Calder thought, unable to come with a conclusion about Lady Syria and just settled on staring at her before his brain blew a fuse.
"D-did y-you not s-s-sleep well your highness?" Lady Britille asked as she kept her gaze on her plate of food. Calder was called out of his thoughts and missed what Lady Britille said. He then glanced at Esai for a hint but saw that Esai had made himself comfortable. His eyes were sparkling with giddiness as he watched Calder closely. A sweet smile spread across Esai face when their eyes met. "I want to punch you so bad." Calder thought.
"Yes." Calder answered courtly. "Cough... Yes I did Lady Britille. Thank you for asking about my sleep. I greatly appreciate your concern." Rutley translated. "Is that what she was asking about!? Thank goodness for Rutley." Calder cried inside his heart.
Esai chuckled calling Calder's attention. "Are you sure Duke Anahita? Or maye you find breakfast not to your taste? Shall I call the kitchen staff out here and have them punished? Will seeing blood bring back your appetite per chance?" Esai said in a sing song voice but it sent Calder into panic mode.
"NO! I FIND THE FOOD SUPER DELICIOUS! I JUST WANT TO SAVOUR IT A LITTLE BIT LONGER!" Calder shouted. "But Duke you didn't even take a bite of your food yet." Esai said as he pointed to Calder's plate.
"Don't you know that taste is mostly smell?! I was savouring my food through my nose!" Calder shouted before grabbing his food and shoving a fair amount of his breakfast into his mouth. Rutley face palmed himself as he watched from the sidelines.
Lady Syria put down her fork and grabbed her napkin. "I'm sorry but I need to excuse myself." She said courtly as she dabbed the corners of her mouth. "Y-y-yes I-I-I-I think.... I... will... excuse myself too." Lady Britille said pathetically as she shot up and ran out of the room. Lady Syria shook her head as she slowly got up and curtsied to Esai then Calder before leaving.
The moment Lady Syria left Esai burst out laughing. "Well that went better then I expected." Esai said with a toothy grin. Calder paled, he didn't know what he did wrong. "Bwup-pe wad I boo?" Calder asked with a full mouth. "No idea I think you were fantastic." Esai answered. Calder rolled his eyes then turned to Rutley direction. Rutley shook his head no vigorously as he tried to blend into the shadows.
"You did nothing wrong my dear brother!" Esai said as he pinched Calder's cheek. Calder quickly chewed his food then swallowed. "No seriously. They looked awful." Calder said. "Ah forget them for now. I never seen you act so cute in font of others before. Savouring food through your nose?! Seriously I need to write this down and frame it in my room." Esai replied as he started laughing again.
Calder paused for a second and thought back to what he said. Then paled. "My face! How did my face look when I yelled?!" Calder asked in a panic. "Same as always. Super cute." Esai said with a sly smile. "I think I gave them nightmares." Calder groaned. "If they can't see how great you are why bother giving them your love? Just give it to me. I'll always appreciate it." Esai said with a wink.
"No thank you." Calder sulked. "You're right. I want to carry a mini version of you soon. So get your a** up and chase after those ladies or do you need me to arrange tea time too?" Esai said as his eyes shined with mischief. "I'll go right now!" Calder shouted as he stood up but then his stomach growled. He looked down at his plate and then sat right back down. "Right after breakfast." He said as he grabbed his fork again.
Esai snagged his plate. "Nope, think of this as your punishment. Now go invite a lady out for brunch. I'm pretty sure they are still hungry too." Esai said as he lifted the plate upwards and a servant quickly took it from him. Calder pouted as he watched his food being taken away. "Okay." He said pitifully as he got up. "Let's go Rutley." Calder said half heartedly.
