Seeing Lorenzo's wide eyes, I knew I was right.

"Lorenzo, ask Karen, Cheek, Pond, and the town mayor about Millenia's development. Anyone. Just ask about the town's growth."

"No need. I've already asked. Everyone's memories were accurate."

"Then it's likely confirmed. The corrective force doesn't affect those outside the story: you, the Marquis, and people or events not appearing in the story. It only affects those influencing the story once it starts."

If that's the case, it's simple. I just have to remove myself from the story.

But that's easier said than done. Since I am part of the corrective force's target, it will do anything to involve me in the story.

However, it's not impossible.
