Mrs Qin was trembling from anger as she gritted her teeth and glared at him darkly. "How dare you, Qin Yu! Are you mocking your own mother??"

"Have you done your part as a mother?" Qin Yu laughed, his tone calm.

Beside them, Pei Yunge also frowned and glanced at Qin Yu unconsciously.

Although in the original novel, Qin Yu had never gotten involved in the Qin family matters and she had the least aversion to him, she still felt that the current Qin Yu was too blatant in defending her.

"I've already given her a chance to come home. What else do you want me to do?!" Mrs Qin's eyes were red as she became agitated.

The form teacher beside them hurriedly tried to calm them down. "Mrs Qin, Mr Qin Yu, please calm down. We can talk things out."
