Bab 966: They got him

[Secluded health facility]

Dominic sat quietly in the small chapel inside the facility. His eyes were fixed on the cross on the altar. He didn't know how long he had been here, but he was sure it was longer than an hour. 

'Why am I even here?' he wondered to himself for the umpteenth time. 'I just killed someone — a few people today. So, why am I here?'

When Dominic arrived in this place, there was a small part of him that believed everyone was simply overreacting. His wife was strong, and thus, it was almost impossible for her to inflict heavy injuries. The worst he could think of was that she was shot, but not fatally. 

But after hearing what happened, he didn't have the heart to listen more. 

He heard enough. 

And before he knew it, he found himself in this chapel within the facility.
