"On a serious note." Heaven cleared her throat after minutes of praising her son to the heavens. She propped her arms against the table, eyes on Sebastian. "You know, no matter how amazing your actions this morning are, it's still wrong, right?"
Sebastian pursed his lips, sliding his eyes to the side as he nodded.
"Do you understand why your father was furious?" Her brows rose, watching her son nod again. "It's not because he doesn't trust you or doesn't acknowledge how special you are. It was actually the opposite."
She smiled warmly, tilting her head to the side. "No matter how mature and great you are, it was still dangerous. I'm still in disbelief at how you traveled on your own. Why didn't you want your father to find you, knowing he'd turn this world upside down if he didn't? I assume there's a reason behind that."
Of course, there was a reason for that.
