Bab 2: Chapter 2: Reincarnation
I sigh and run my hands on my hair. I can't believe it. I stare at the big screen, the screen that showed me that I am dead. The screen that shows how I died. I died so so ugh! So pathetic. I am eaten by a dog. To be more precisely, I am not really what the dog is eating. The dog is eating the meat that splatters on my body and while he is eating it, he accidentally ate me that lead me to death.
If anyone hears this, I bet they will laugh or say I'm joking. I sigh again for what to be like my 29th times.
I look around this place only to realize that I don't know whether if I am in Heaven or Hell. It is so black and empty. I am really sure that I am not in Heaven, Old people said that Heaven is beautiful. It is color gold and white, the opposite of this place. So am I in hell? But I thought that hell is so ugly. Like there are fire everywhere, worms and maybe there are even zombie. I shudder at that thought.
"Hello?" I shouted, asking if there are at least a living creature. I don't care if its a person or an animal, just any living creature would do.
No one answer me. I sit and sigh again. Now, that is my 30th times sigh in a day. I don't know where am I. I am starting to feel kind of scared because all I can see is pure black and the big screen.
"Hello." A voice too gentle to recognize if its a man or woman said, making me jump in fright.
"Who is there?" I ask cautiously, taking a fighting stance. Narrowing my eyes to find who said it.
"Sorry to scare you." The voice said again.
"Come out and don't be a scaredy bug!" I yelled.
"I am already here."
"Where?"
"In front of you."
"But I can't see anything but a small little light." I said, squinting my eyes at the little light.
"I am the light." The voice said.
"Woah" I exclaim in shock. "How can you be so little?"
"Enough talking." The voice said.
"Yeah, yeah. But what is your name? I mean, are you an angel? Or are you really just a light?" I ask him curiously.
"What do you think?" The light ask me.
"Are you a girl or a boy?" I said. I really can't identify if it's a girl or a boy. The voice is so soft and gentle.
"I don't have gender."
"Oh. Of course you don't. I mean you are a light and light don't have genders."
"Anyways, I am here to ask you about something." The little light said.
"Go ahead and ask." I give him permission.
"Do you want to rest in peace or be Reincarnated?" The light said.
"What?" I ask again, making sure I heard it right.
"Are you going to rest in peace or do you want to have a second life, Reincarnation?" The little light ask again.
"Reincarnation." I said in a duh tone. "Everyone wants a second life."
The little light was shock because this is the first time that someone wants to be Reincarnated. All souls when they die wants to rest in peace. People think that they want Reincarnation yet when they die they want to rest in peace.
"You sure?" The light ask again for reassurance.
"Yes. And besides, I want adventure." I explain.
"Where do you want to be Reincarnated?" The little light ask.
"Your choice. I just want an adventurous life." I said lightly.
"Okay, then close your eyes."
I did as I was told and close my eyes. I feel a little bit of dizzy. My throat feels so sore and its hard to breath. Then I feel that something is sucking my soul making me faint. I just hear the light said "Adventure you want, here you go." Before fainting.
The small little light glow so bright that it reflect the pure black room, making the room color white and gold. The black room now look so beautiful like a paradise. There are some people with wings, angels. When the glow died, in the place of the small little light is a Man.
The Man look at the fountain with guilt, where the big screen was suppose to be. He look at the flashback of how the girl died. The girl was accidentally eaten by his pet, his pet really didn't mean too. His pet just wanted to taste the meat. He punish his pet for its greediness and he promised that he will do one thing that Talia want. Talia wants to be Reincarnated so he did it. And he see nothing wrong with it. Talia wants adventures so he gave it. And he is sure that Talia can survive it all.
"Good luck, Luciana." The man whisper.
"Bark!" He heard his wolf bark and look towards it.
"You should be in that place, why are you still in here?" The man said frowning at his pet.
"Bark" the dog - well technically it's a wolf-The wolf bark again.
"You should atone for your sin." The man clap his fingers and the wolf disappear like bubbles.
The man smile feeling that he solve the problem and just let Fate and Luciana decide it.
