Bab 57: Chapter55-The Severed Head

In the very moment that Leo turned his back, a head soared high into the air, accompanied by a fountain of blood. 

Suspended in the void, the eyes of Alexander were filled with not only anger, fear, and despair but also a tinge of regret. 

Perhaps, he should never have brought that man back to Rubyburg. Or perhaps, he should never have offended him. But now, it was too late.

With regret, the light in Alexander's eyes faded completely as his head plummeted to the ground. 

It landed with a thud, rolling a few times on the grass, his eyes, still open in death, staring at Leo's retreating figure. The atmosphere was eerily quiet.

Two knights stood frozen, unable to believe that their master was truly dead. 

Jack, gazing at Alexander's head, felt his body tremble slightly and tears welled up in his eyes, overwhelmed by a sense of exhilarating relief.

The surrounding onlookers wore expressions of shock and disbelief.
