Bab 55: Ceres, Beheshta and Rusalke(Cerberus)

Lucifer sat at the edge of his bed, his gaze fixed on the impossible figure sprawled across the mattress. A woman with three heads laid there, each having a damp towel on the forehead. The sight was as surreal as it was troubling.

He'd done what he could in terms of first aid, but the situation was far beyond his usual expertise. Even as the devil, there were things he couldn't be... and one was a doctor.

Using his Morningstar powers was too risky – he didn't know how demonic physiology would react to divine healing. There was a chance he could do more harm than good. And a hospital was out of the question. The last thing he needed was to explain a three-headed patient to bewildered doctors.

Ezra leaned against the wall, arms folded. Her face was a mask of concern and confusion. "How is she?" she asked, breaking the tense silence.
