Bab 51: 51
"Make me a body!!!!" Hiroki yelled in excitement as he held the Golden Page, holding his breath in anticipation, but as the hands on a clock ticked by, nothing changed.
"Huh? Is this thing broken? Why won't it make me a body?" Hiroki asked in confusion, as he looked at the Golden Page curiously.
"Don't tell me I was scammed. Why the hell did I help those two reincarnates if not for this???" Hiroki yelled in frustration as he screamed at the pages to make him a body.
"Damn it. Damn it all to hell!!!!" Hiroki's face twisted in rage, as the mindscape began to tremble, reflecting the mental instability of its host, causing the books in the personal library and the paintings on the wall to fall and crash on the wall.
After almost a few hours of wreaking the mindscape and trying to burn through the frustration he felt, Hiroki thought back to all the supposed effects the Golden Pages would give.
"Of course, there isn't anything that says that the pages would build someone a new body. There was never a need for it in the source material. But come on, it was literally a plot armor for the protagonist. It pulled abilities out of its ass whenever that guy needed power. Why the hell can't it work for me???" Hiroki's calming rage flared up once more, his eyes bloodshot as he once more began wreaking havoc on the steadily repairing mindscape. The usually calm and laid-back image of Hiroki turned into that of a deranged devil. His dark hair was wild and floating menacingly, the whites of his sclera bloodshot, his lips pulled back in a nasty snarl, and his pearly whites turning jagged, reflecting his mental state on his spiritual body.
Kurama, sensing the boy's mental breakdown, decided to let him be as he vented the years of frustrations being trapped in a child's body, as he supplied some chakra into the mindscape to stop it from collapsing and causing harm to those that shared the space.
Luckily, Naruto was sleeping calmly and didn't really have his attention on his mindscape, otherwise, he would have felt one of the worst mental tortures someone could suffer.

Time passed and it was soon time for the Chunnin Exams to enter the final exam stage.
"Welcome, one and all. It is my honor as the Leader of the Hidden Leaf to welcome you to witness the budding talents that the various villages have to offer.
We have here, 17 brilliant talents that have worked tirelessly for the past month in anticipation of this tournament." The 17 participants of the Final Exam of the Chunnin Exams stepped forward as the Hokage announced loudly.
The thundering applause and cheering from the crowd riled up the young genin, their hearts pumping strong, their nerves tingling from the excitement, while Hiruzen continued on with his speech.
Soon, the participants were led to the waiting room, except Neji and Hinata, who would be kicking off the matches for today.
"The first match will be between the two exceptional members of the renowned Hyuga Clan, famous for their Byakugan and exceptional Taijutsu style.
Neji Hyuga, are you ready?" Seeing the stoic boy nod, the proctor continued.
"Hinata Hyuga, are you ready?" Hinata nodded meekly, as she tried to meet the eyes of her cousin, as he glared at her.
"Very well, then. Let the first match of the Chunnin Exam finals Begin!!!" With that, the proctor immediately jumped back to give the two space to fight.
"It is fate that has dictated that it will be my win today. It is better that you accept your fate and give up, before you get hurt, Hinata-sama." Neji condescendingly started his whole spiel about fate and whatnot, which caused Hinata to feel sorry and guilty for the boy.
Neji, seeing that Hinata was still not moving to give up, rushed at her, and started his assault on her, his Byakugan on full blast, taking in all the information about her chakra pathways and weak points.
Hinata barely defended. Soon, more and more chakra nodes were blocked off, causing her strength to drop further.
"HINATA. DEFEAT HIS COCKY ASS, AND I WILL GIVE YOU A KISS. IF YOU LOSE, I WILL KISS SOMEONE ELSE!!!" Naruto, seeing Hinata losing and not giving it her all, Naruto yelled out from the stands his attempt at motivating his fellow ninja/more-than-a-friend, causing a lot of members in the audience to chuckle at the romantic motivation.
"Eep. Naruto-Kun will give me a kiss if I win!!!"
Distracted by the loud and obnoxious voice of the blond, Neji stopped his assault for a tiny bit, looking curiously at the boy.
"It matters not what you say to her. It is her fate to lose today. So, why don't you just go ahead and kiss someone else? It is not your fate to kiss her today." Neji yelled towards the participants before focusing back on his opponent.
"Naruto-Kun will kiss someone else. WHO DARES TO APPROACH HIM TO GIVE HIM A KISS? NO. NO. NO. IT WILL BE ME. I WILL BE THE ONE TO KISS NARUTO-KUN." Hinata whispered frighteningly to herself, as a huge rush of chakra rushed into her system, her previous experience with blocked nodes helping her to forcefully blow them open, as she took a Wing Chun stance. Something that naruto had taught her based on the Hyuga Taijutsu.
"For the lips of my Naruto-Kun, I will defy that stupid fate of yours." Hinata tilted her head slightly, causing her neck-length hair to partially cover her eyes. But that didn't bother the Byakugan user, as she emanated a menacing aura, sending chills down every man and woman's spine.
"Hinata-sama?" Neji looked at this development in slight confusion, before he too adopted his Gentle Fist Style, and rushed ahead.
"Keep your eyes open, Hanabi. This is how a genius of the Hyuga should act. Don't be like that useless sister of yours, and learn from your cousin instead." A middle-aged man with white eyes spoke to a little girl sitting beside him, who nodded slowly, absorbing the information of her father like an obedient student.
Bang. Bang. Bang.
Three moves. That's all that took, for Hinata to overpower the rushing Neji, as she slapped away the arms of the attacker, and got in close to his body.
With a one-inch punch at his navel, Hinata ejected a heavy stream of chakra through her hands, causing a disturbance in Neji's chakra center.
Blurghhh
"Hi-Hinata-s-sama?" Neji looked up in confusion at the wide and crazy eyes of his cousin, who he thought of as inferior, as a line of blood slid out of his mouth and dropped on the fist of Hinata still in front of his navel.
"I have defied that stupid fate of yours to get what I want. I suggest you do the same next time." Hinata monotonously spoke before turning around to spot Naruto running at her full speed.
THUD
"Neji Hyuga is unconscious. Hinata Hyuga wins!!!" The proctor arrived and checked on the collapsed Hyuga before announcing the result.
"I'm here to fulfill my promise, dear." Naruto rushed up to his crazy girlfriend before pulling her close to his body. However, before he could bring his face forwards to grab her lips, Hinata beat him to it.
Lunging forward, Hinata pushed Naruto to the ground and crushed her face into his, an awkward and poorly practiced kiss was displayed to all the audience members, who started to cheer loudly.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It was unclear if it was a cheer for Hinata winning the round, or for the passion shown on the ring below.
"Father. It seems it is unwise to be like Neji-nii-san. I would prefer to win and be strong like Hinata-nee-san." The innocent young girl spoke up from the excited crowd, to look at her stunned father.
"Ahem. Yes. Yes. Be like your elder sister. Become strong." Hiashi Hyuga coughed to hide his confusion and surprise as he taught his daughter.
A few ninjas along with the proctor were required to separate Hinata from Naruto, who finally realized that Hinata may be someone that would be very hard to handle in the future.
Soon, the ring was cleared, and it was time for the second match.
Misumi and Kankuro's match went pretty much as expected.
Misumi used his Soft Body technique to surprise and capture Kankuro into a choke hold, squeezing down till Kankuro's joints and bones began to snap, but the sand genin had numerous tricks up his sleeve.
Using the puppet that was being strangled, Kankuro used his chakra threads to pop out a few sharp needles coated with a potent poison, which instantly pierced the closely wound body of the Konoha genin/spy.
Kankuro's victory was quite easy.
Next up was Yakumo and Shikamaru. Yakumo was able to trap Shikamaru into a genjutsu as soon as he stepped foot inside the stadium, however, as he was thrown into the ring by Ino, he sent out a few strands of shadows attached to crossbows in the corner of the rings, changing their aim slightly.
After Yakumo demonstrated her skills as a genjutsu mistress, Shikamaru stood in the same place where he was when he entered the ring.
Just as Shikamaru was forced to leave the genjutsu, the pull from the still connected shadows triggered the crossbows, firing a few shots at Yakumo, and a few grazing shots at himself.
This caused Yakumo to jump back and defend herself, losing focus on her target, while Shikamaru snapped out of the genjutsu from the pain of having multiple kunai graze his limbs.
"What a drag." He said, before throwing his hands up and walking out of the ring under the confused eyes of Yakumo.
"Why are you giving up? You aren't in my genjutsu right now?"
"I just want to go out and watch some clouds. I don't want to deal with anything troublesome." That was all Shikamaru said before exiting the stage, making Yakumo the winner by forfeit.
Yoroi won the next round, defeating Kiba with his chakra absorption technique, which drained the energy from Akamaru and Kiba with just a simple touch. While Kiba has become stronger in the past year, he was still young and inexperienced compared to the long-time genin turned spy.
It was the next match that was of the most anticipation from the audience and a certain pedo dressed as a Kazekage in the booths high up.
"Next Match. Sasuke Uchiha. Versus. Shino Aburame." The proctor yelled.

Sorry for the late upload.
Anyways. Sorry for those that expected a body so soon. But this is not the plan I have to give Hiroki a body. I will stick true to my plan and give him a body in less than half an arc.
I have a rough outline of the next few chapters, which will finish the Konoha Crush, and then a very small surprise arc, which will result in the final steps needed for Hiroki to get his body.
As someone said in the comments once. Think of these chapters as Book 1 of this series, while Book 2 will be heavily focused on Hiroki, the actual MC of this novel.
But don't worry. The quality of the content will hopefully not go down, and I hope to keep the same level of interest and enjoyment as I have given you guys till now.
I have a fairly detailed plan of the direction I will be taking with this novel, so there will be a lot of fun as we go forward.

PS: I somehow ended up down a rabbit hole and researched the Human Centipede. While I didn't see the whole movie, the small clips from YouTube and some other sources and thoroughly made me lose hope for Humanity.
