This is place was lit up as LA's tribes brought together by their cars. Chicanos, Asians, Whiteboys, Blacks. Kage was just watching the line of awesome cars. As he noticed Lowriders. Plush Humvees. Pimp Daddy Mercedes and Beemers.There was street racers in a rainbow of intense colors.kage passes a parked lowrider, brimming with hot girls as two homies play videogames on a built-in console.kage gets lots of smiles from the girls.
Kage pulls into a huge parking lot where racers gather. As the passerby stares and nods at him.
Kage parks his ride gets out of the car, sits on the hood.It didn't take long as everyone turned as five engines roared a formation crew comes in, Edwin smile and said "well shit, here they come.It's showtime."
Dom rolling up in a fiery red Mazda RX7. it is one scary vehicle Dom gets out, as intimidating as his car.All of the girls were shouting his name.Kage smile and thought"He sure is popular"
Mia steps out of Dominic's RX7. she sees Kage as they both trade smiles.Vince whose face is all bandaged up pulls up with Jesse, then Letty's Eclipse and Leon's Celica. Everyone gets out and gathers, mia with them. Leon has a police scanner, listens to the police dispatchers.Kage merely sat on his hood waiting for Dom who spotted Kage and walked over to him and said "So you came."
Kage smiled and replied"I never run away from a challenge." which made Dom laugh and say"You got spirit. You sure you can handle this? because there is a huge chance that you may not be going back home with that car."
Kage stated"You can never say who is the first to cross the finish line." making Dom smile before the others came over as Kage questioned, "so, what's the play?" Kage asked getting off his hood while Dom's replied""one race. quarter-mile. $2,000 buy-in. winner takes it all." making the others nod, Dom looked at Hector and said"Hector, you hold the cash." making hector nod as he took Kage, dom, Edwin, and an asian guy's entry fee.
Leon, who had been blocking an intersection and listening to police radio, suddenly chimed in over a walkie, Leon said"I got a 187 in Glendale. cops are all over it, good to go man so let's roll. let's race!"
All the cars lined up in front of the starting line making Hector nod as he stood in front of the cars.Hector then called out" Ready? steady. go!" making the five-floor it. Kage and Dom easily zipped past the other three cars, Kage also noticed that Dom was keeping pace with him until he double-clutched and began pulling ahead surprising Dom and his crew. Mia with awe and shock muttered"no way," as she watched with the crew as Kage was maintaining his lead over Dom.
Vice frowned and said, "It's just luck,I am sure Dom would win." Jesse's eyes widened as he muttered"Holy shit." he was having a hard time believing what he was seeing as the other cheered for Dom or Kage respectively.
However, this didn't affect Kage as he readied his nitrous and hit it the same time as Dom, who had managed to close the gap.But becaue of difference in reaction caused the race to end in
Kage's win.
Dom slowly stopped his car next to Kage as he said"It looks like you win."
[A/N:I corrected it making it Kage's win,since making it a tie seems stupid.]
Kage smile and replied"It seems so."Dom promised to deliver the Mazda to his home as Kage was about to leave Dom asked"Hey,Alex care to join us for beer ?" Kage smiled and gave nod,but someone"The cops are coming."
Kage looked at Dom who nodded as both reved their car and sped off.
Both started zipping though the traffic like nothing, in the distance,the wails of police sirens can be heard. Sure enough, the cars belonging to said noises sped into view, with the police car's lights flashing red and blue, visible from a mile away.But both and Kage easily lost them with their in amoung the traffic.
After that Kage went back home feeling it was enough for the day,as the days past friendship between Doma nd Kage grew as both seemed to hold each other as their equal,while Vince seems to keep the same attitude with Kage who ignored him.Dom and Letty already figured out the fact Kage was not interested in Mia and Vince was too much of an idiot to see that.But Mia did hold on to the hope that Kage would ask her out,which was something Kage noticed,but he was not ready to get into a new relationship.Also Kage knew Mia was looking for a serious relationship rather than one time thing.
