"Mommy, you know you don't have to stress yourself now," David said as he collected the knife from her and began cutting the onions as she once was.
His nieces could be seen doing one thing or another. They had long since changed into something more comfortable.
Unlike their high-profile selves back in his estate, here they were calm and a bit more like normal girls.
"If I don't cook for my children, who would do it?" she said with a smile as she stood up to do other things.
"Now we can hire someone to," David replied.
"I know, Naomi already told me… I guess this may be the last time I see this place, right?" she suddenly asked, fighting back her tears as she looked around the house they had lived in for years.
David immediately turned to Naomi and Jessica, who were quietly sitting, helping prep the vegetables.
