Misha though was just as shocked, more alarmed than she previously was.
"Seven days! That's not possible. How can you bleed for seven days?" Misha asked half screaming the last part as she tried to keep her voice down while conveying the urgency of the situation slowly unraveling around them.
"You're joking right, I mean–"
"I'm serious and it's already starting," Rye responded in a tone that was just as severe.
They spent the remaining hour until dawn talking while Rye bathed and cleaned herself up in the small bathroom attached to the room.
"I don't think it'll be that bad. If it's only a little bad then the smell would be negligible," Misha said the second Rye came out of the bathroom after thinking of all the things they discussed before she went in.
"What if it's not little?" Rye asked with a worried look on her face, knowing that trying to hide her human status from Krella was slowly becoming impossible.
"Then you'll die!" Misha instantly responded jumping on her feet the next instant.
She moved quickly, walking out of the room before Rye could process the way she had just nonchalantly informed her that she would die.
"Stay!" Misha ordered, closing the door firmly behind her.
'I'm fucked as a human and now even my reproductive organs are fucking me up as a woman' Rye cursed under her breath.
Alone, for the first time, she thought about Earth and the things she took for granted.
She thought about her family and it brought tears to her eyes thinking of how worried they were. It felt worse for her to know that she might never see them again.
Misha came back and informed Rye that she could stay indoors for four days, according to Krella's orders.
Rye, worried was just about to ask what she would do for the remaining seven days only to decide not to.
She was sure that Misha did her best and the last thing she wanted to do was be ungrateful.h
For four days, Rye stayed inside only going outside on the Fifth day when she could no longer continue to hide.
To her surprise, all she got were comments about how nice she smelt and what the tantalizing smile around her was.
This made Rye feel extremely relieved even though she made sure to stay away from Krella's two sons Jurio and Jaius, who she felt were extremely dangerous.
On the first day, according to Krella's orders, they went to the market to get ingredients for dinner.
They had just gotten to the center of the market when they heard a commotion happening not far away from them.
"What exactly are you trying to say? Do you think by saying all these I'll buy your goods at such an exorbitant price?" A customer yelled calling the attention of others towards him.
The trader at the stall though was also enraged as he matched his tone with that of the yelling customer.
"Anyone that doesn't believe me is a fool! A high-ranking lieutenant invaded the first village and I only managed to escape by a breath's hair,"
"Right now, I'm sure they're in the second village, and it's only a matter of time before they reach here. It's the only reason I reduced the prices so low!"
"You call this low! It's definitely because you're the only trader here selling silk that you can be so brazen," the customer continued to yell.
The trader's price was indeed surprisingly low but after hearing him yell out such strange words he slowly decided that he could get it for a much cheaper price.
With all his yelling no one would want to buy it from him and he would have no choice but to sell it to him.
"Who here doesn't know that the Royals can't send a high-ranking Lieutenant to the three villages around the slave tower? Why do you think they call us the Baran Villages? It's because there's nothing to be found here!" he continued to tell in jest.
At first, everyone was merely attracted by the commotion but soon everyone began to side with the yelling customer, calling for the trader to reduce the expensive prices of his goods.
Watching, Rye was extremely worried and was just about to speak when Misha shook her head to show that she shouldn't.
Instead, they went around buying everything they needed with Misha only speaking when they were both on their way back home, with no one around.
"Yes, I also don't think the man is lying. You're a human especially one from the slave tower, there's no way they don't want you back," Misha said as they both walked quickly side by side.
"I could hide while they're here. There's no way they'll search the whole village if they don't know where to look," Rye whispered even though there was no one close by but she was barely done speaking when she heard Misha respond, her voice much colder than ever.
"NO!" leaving no room for discussion. "I'll figure it out but you leave tomorrow. The faster you leave the better. I know an alternative route you can take. It's only been a couple of days but I've taught you all you need to know,"
Rye was completely unwilling and the look on her face reflected exactly how she felt.
Although her previous agreement with Misha was for her to leave, she hadn't expected it to happen so quickly.
Rye wanted to open her mouth to refuse and was just about to when she felt Misha hasten her steps in a way she found hard to keep up with.
Rye hurriedly caught up, choosing to wait until the next day before bringing up the decision she had internally made.
'The main city of Hoyen would be worse than this. At least here in the village it's abandoned and even if they wanted to rear me like an animal, there's no human male for them to use,' Rye thought to herself, realizing that staying in the village for some more time was the best thing to do.
Together, they got back to Kierra's house and they made dinner before they both headed back to their rooms to sleep.
"Rye, you'll be giving some blood tomorrow," Krella whispered to her as she passed on her way upstairs to her room.
"Yes Mistress," Rye loudly responded. The thought of giving her blood for someone to drink still disgusted her but she was slowly getting used to the idea.
I can live here for a while while I think of a way to get that stone Shiya mentioned could get me back home.
Rye laid down in bed thinking of it for a very long time, before she fell asleep only to be woken up by a hard tap on her shoulders.
Surprised she opened her eyes to see Misha hovering over her with a bag beside her.
"What's wrong? It's not Dawn yet?" The asked sitting up and looking around to try and understand why Misha decided to wake her up.
"No its not. There's still an hour left. Follow me!," Misha instructed turning around to leave the room even before Rye agreed to follow her.
Grudgingly Rye got off the bed and followed behind her to the kitchen, where Rye was surprised to see Misha slowly begin to cook breakfast.
Yes, it was Misha's turn to do it, and Rye was still shocked as to why Misha would drag her into it.
But all that changed when she heard Misha slowly start to speak, her voice barely discernible under the sound of pots and plates.
"You're leaving today! I've already prepared everything you'll need in the bag in the room,"
