Bab 104: Crazy Woman

Shen Qingyue could hardly fathom the extent of benefits Chu's family must have promised Chi Ming to secure the dress ahead of time. Chi Ming, however, simply replied with a casual "Hmm" and urged her to try it on.

As Shen Qingyue was about to inquire further, the sharp voice of Ling Bing'er interjected, "How much did you spend to buy it? We'll pay double!"

Both Chi Ming and Shen Qingyue paid no heed to the 'crazy woman' beside them. But Shen Qingyue was somewhat curious, "How much did you spend?"

Chi Ming answered, "Didn't spend."

Shen Qingyue was skeptical, "With the Chu family's stingy nature, how could they not take your money? Did you promise them something?"

Chi Ming looked at her and nodded, "It's nothing much, just a project investment promised to Chu's family."
