"Mitch, can I borrow your umbrella, please? I will return it in the morning when I am coming to work," her fine voice asked.
Getting no response Sarahiah saw his hesitation, they were the last two persons inside the store. Sarahiah walked toward the window and shifted the blinds aside while watching the rain pouring down.
Thinking, 'If only I had a slight inkling that spring was upon us, I would have walked with my own umbrella, but then I didn't expect my car to act up this morning either.'
Waiting for his response getting none, she turns around to see him just sitting there. Grabbing her handbag from on top of her desk throwing over her shoulder the words, "I will find my way home."
As she exit the door of the store leaving Mitch still sitting behind his desk, warbling with the thought of whether to lend her his stupid umbrella.
Bouncing into a couple who seemed attached to each other like some Siamese twins, the gentleman had this way about him as if he was some sort of macho man, and the way he growled at her, it was as though he had no sympathy in his soul.
He was tall and handsome, his nose had a mole at the tip just like one of those fluffy brown and white pet dogs with a black spot at the tip of its nose. His shades made him quite distinguished and he stands out in the crowd. His black tailored suit fits him perfect. His black leather shoes were shining and so was his briefcase. The baby blue long sleeve shirt looks lovely with his black tie.
Smilingly, she looked at them as she stood opposite them while waiting for the rain to stop. Most of them with umbrellas had already left and only a few people were waiting for the heavy rain to subside.
A few times she glimpsed in the couple's direction and notice the gentleman whispering something to his companion, who in return, without any curtesy raised her left hand and showed her the middle finger.
Sarahiah was unable to contain her emotions, but she continued smiling when she should be angry, seeing how stupidly the woman was acting, but then, she ignored them and angled herself more to the left.
As it so happened, she had a difficult time ignoring them for long, because the reflection on the glass displayed them clearly.
The woman had her claws all over him, she was beautiful and the dress she was wearing was a beautiful moss green straight dress with lace at the front bringing out her figure so nicely, resting on top of her knees, and her moss green suede shoes were matching her dress and it was just about an inch and a half high.
Her shoulder bag was a beautiful beige Gucci, and the glasses she was wearing keep slipping off her nose as if she had borrowed them. Boy, she should get a piece of his nose then the glasses would stay up.'
