Bab 99: Golden Scale Town Tournament Part -1

Bowen from the Beast Tamer hall waved his hand, and a beast appeared before him from his beast pouch.

"Wow! That's a Grade-3 Saber-Tooth Leopard."

The audience erupted in shock. They did not expect to see such a fierce beast from the first battle. With their eyes burning with anticipation, they looked at Yifan, expecting how he was going to respond.

Yifan hefted his two small axes with a confident smile on his face.

"If that's all you've got, you're quite disappointing," he muttered disdainfully.

"We will see about that," Bowen sneered, commanding his beast to attack.

Whoosh!

The Saber-Tooth growled and pounced toward Yifan, moving so fast it left a blur behind, with all the fur on its body standing up straight.

Yifan did not cower in fear and raced toward the incoming beast. When they were only a couple of feet from each other, the Saber-Tooth Leopard jumped toward him, ready to tear him to pieces.

Whoosh!
