Bab 197: 197. Unreliable Eight Master Chang

I was somewhat bewildered as to what exactly Ninth Lord wanted to do,

and a look of hostility surfaced on my face.

"Eighth Master, I hope you won't do such things in the future. Ninth Master Chang and I are not your playthings. Moreover, Ninth Master Chang won't kill you. You're his older brother."

Upon hearing this, Eight Master Chang immediately looked stern and unexpectantly slapped me.

Ninth Master Chang was always happy-go-lucky in front of his older brothers,

and had never fought back when he was disciplined by Eight Master Chang, but at that moment, after receiving a slap from Eighth Master, Ninth Master Chang responded with a frosty slap in return.

The two of them went back and forth like this, seemingly about to start fighting.

I wasn't scared of other things, but if the Winged Snake Old Mother found out about this, I reckoned both brothers would be punished.
