Bab 639: Conspiracies of the Past

Fein, Aoi, and Voli stepped out of their boat onto the sandy shores of Poison Island. As they took their first steps onto the beach, they couldn't help but notice the eerie silence that engulfed the island. No birds were chirping, no insects buzzing, and no animals scurrying about. It was as if the island was devoid of all life.

Fein took a deep breath and scanned his surroundings. He noticed that the island was covered in dense, dark vegetation. The trees were tall and thick, and their branches were entwined with one another, blocking out most of the sunlight. The ground was covered in layers of dead leaves and thick vines, making it difficult to walk.

As they made their way deeper into the island, Aoi spoke up, "Do you think there's something wrong with this place? It's so quiet, it's almost unsettling."

Voli nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I've never been on an island with no animals or vegetation. It's like something sucked the life out of this place."
