Bab 158: Initiative

"I know you kissed Steve while I was still dating him but you never intentionally tried to ruin our relationship. After that there have been many instances, where I and Steve, me intentionally and him unintentionally have hurt you. During our fourth year, I tried to keep you and Steve away from each other but even that didn't save our relationship. Steve had always been in love with you and I always lived in the fear of him realizing it someday. But luckily, he didn't as nothing happened that would trigger his emotions towards you. I always loathed the fact that someone simple and unattractive was able to drive Steve, crazy but I was not able to, in spite of me looking hotter than you. It took me a while to realize that's not how love works. But I needed someone I could blame, as I was not ready to accept that Steve loves you more than me."
