Roxy sighed and stopped her verbal assault with a tired smile. I nodded towards Anastasia, grateful that she had helped me.

"Well... That still doesn't mean that I'm happy with what you did."

Anastasia shot back with a frown.

"Ack... I'm sorry... is all I can say."

"It's fine... it's just that..."

"Just what?"

I asked, but Anastasia shook her head.

"Nevermind that. Anyhow, can this new girl be trusted? Parrot was her name, right?"

She avoided answering my question and changed the topic. I decided to not push that matter any further and replied to her current question.

"I think you can... But it's best to be cautious."

"Oh? I thought you would vouch for her."

Roxy said with a surprised face as I shrugged.
