Walking on the street, Ji Yao's face still bore an expression of lingering fear. She was relieved that she had left quickly, or else Lu Jincheng might have discovered her pregnancy.

Picking up her cell phone, Ji Yao didn't even know who to call.

Over the years, she had almost always been in the role of Lu Jincheng's woman, the official Mrs. Lu of the Lu Family, but she seldom interacted with others, so she did not know any other socialites, let alone have best friends.

Even Qi Huai'an was someone she had met at a banquet during her school years, and their contacts had almost ceased ever since.

A feeling of frustration surged in her heart, and Ji Yao listlessly put her cell phone back in her bag. The burden of having worries but no one to share them with made her feel at a loss.
