Rin remembered hearing stories about Barthomeloi Lorelai's ruthless nature and how she would never hesitate to use her power to maintain the status quo. The thought of having to face her made Rin's heart race with fear and anxiety.
"Y-you! How dare you be rude to her! Don't you know that she is the master of the clock tower?! And a Barthomeloi Lorelai at that!"
"Hehe. So what? Even though I didn't want to admit it, I am a god, you know. Technically, I am in a much higher position than her. And I know much more about her than you. She is smart and would never do anything stupid."
Rin heard that, and she calmed down instantly. She forgot who Sullivan was. He is a god. Maybe he could hold his own against the clock tower. Even the grand marshal invited him to the clock tower.
