Salem looked at Hermione and Tsunade with keen eyes, She knew that the two had been watching her like hawks since they arrived here.
She might be able to convince the young god, but the two of them were another matter.
'They seemed to have more experience than the young god. I need to do something about them first.'
Salem thought that she should separate the two goddesses from the young god so that she could convince him easier, but she didn't have to do that.
"Sis, Tsunade looks like she wants to speak to me alone. Can you two give us some alone time?"
Hearing from Sullivan, the two felt reluctant for a little bit before they nodded. If Salem wanted to do something to him. They would know immediately through the chat.
Salem looked at Sullivan in silence. She knew that, even though he might not know about him being a god.
But a God is a god even if he doesn't know about it. He could read minds and act like it was some kind of supernatural power, but she didn't know that he would be able to read her mind without her noticing.
The brother gods had read her mind once, and it was really painful.
Sullivan, In fact, he didn't read her mind at all. It was just the force telling him how she felt.
"Okay, now that the two have gone, What do you want from me in exchange for information about how to awaken my divine power?"
Sullivan wanted to know about it, but he would not awaken it for the time being. He knew a little bit about it from what she had told him. In his current state, he could not control it, and it might endanger everyone.
"I want you to kill the brother gods for me. And kill me after that."
Salem made her demand immediately. There's no point in holding it in, as the young god might already know what she really wants.
"Sorry, but It's too much. I can't help you with that."
Sullivan refused outright, Even though he really wanted to know about the divine power but not to fight the gods. It was too much.
The brother gods were too strong for him and his people to handle. They could wipe out the whole planet easily.
"Please don't make a decision too quickly. Listen to what I want to say first. Then you can consider whether you want to agree to help me or not."
Salem sounded desperate yet confident. Sullivan couldn't help but feel curious. He knew where the desperation came from, but he didn't know where her confidence came from.
"I am all ears."
Salem, when she saw that she had gotten his attention. She started to tell him about how to kill gods.
She had been researching how to kill gods since the beginning of the remnant era, when humanity was almost wiped out.
She told Sullivan that he might not be able to kill those two yet, but with her help, he might be able to kill them in the future.
Gods like them were mere constructs given ego and not really true gods like him. They received a false divinity from those who worshiped them, their divinity actually did not originate from their very being.
And when she spoke to this point, Her anger towards humanity erupted!
"Those filthy humans, even though the gods betrayed them, still worshiped them like they were merciful gods! If I want to kill them myself, I need to wipe out humanity, which gave them power!"
So it was like that, That's why the brother gods hadn't wiped out humanity yet.
They just want to punish them for going against them. Next time they come back, They will get divinity from them easily.
"So you mean that humans and faunus are like cattle that produce divinity for them? And because they were trying to go against them in the past, they want to teach them lessons so they will be obedient and produce divinity for them willingly?"
Salem nodded. Her anger subsided slightly.
Sullivan sighed. Those were some heavy things that made his demonic blood boil in anger and made him want to punish them so badly. And his angelic blood wanted to give humans and faunus salvation.
Even Salem, who was evil, had gained his sympathy. She just wanted to be free from the curse the god of darkness had bestowed upon her.
"I will help you. That's what I can promise you for now, but as you said, I can't kill them or punish them right now. They are far too strong for the current me."
If Sullivan wanted to classify the two of them, Their strength would be around planetary level, and Sullivan and his co were just city level. The gaps were too large.
Salem heard that he had accepted to help her and smiled beautifully. He was a god, but she could tolerate him.
"Don't worry, the brother gods would not come here if we don't-Aghhhh!!!!!"
Salem, who was about to tell Sullivan not to worry about them for now, screamed as if her soul was being torn apart.
Sullivan didn't know what was happening to her, but he could not stay still and did nothing.
