In Combat Class.
Hermione was now discussing with Glinda how she could improve the quality of education. If it were normal, Glinda would be upset because Hermione thought her teaching was inadequate. But she knew that Hermione wasn't a normal human. So she listened to her carefully.
"So, how can we improve the quality of teaching?"
"We need to make it feel more real. They will get more experience in fighting with that."
"Isn't it dangerous?"
"They will face dangerous situations sooner or later. It will be a good experience for them if they face it in controlled environments. And even if they die, my brother can bring them back easily."
Glinda was surprised to hear that, but she remembered who her brother was.
"Don't worry, Glinda, In my school, we face more dangerous situations than this. Do you know that I fought a giant when I was just ten years old? I fought a giant snake at eleven and a dragon at thirteen."
Hermione reassured her that what she did was not exaggerated. Glinda was shocked. And looked at Hermione in awe.
"Really. What school is that? If I ever have a kid, I would never send them to that school."
"I hoped my parents thought the same as you. It's Hogwarts, and it isn't in this world."
Glinda felt relief, then she sighed. How can she talk about children. She didn't even have a boyfriend.
Glinda wondered if her lack of a love life was due to her stiffness. She knew that no one would date her because of it. She longed for someone to share her life with, but it seemed impossible.
Hermione saw opportunity in Glinda's longing for companionship. She striked.
"You know, my little brother really likes you."
She introduced Sullivan to her immediately. When Glinda heard that, she couldn't help but think of her prince in shining armor, who saved her from being burned to a crisp.
His fire was hot but warm. It made her feel safe for the first time in her life.
Sullivan was charming and understanding. Even though he was a god, he didn't act like one. He treated her as an equal and showed genuine interest in her the first time they met each other.
'But he already has lovers. and he's a god.'
It was normal for Sullivan to have many wives, being a god and all. Glinda couldn't help but wonder if she could handle sharing him with others.
She shook her head and stopped thinking for now. She knew that dwelling on these thoughts would only bring her more confusion.
And when she thought of stopping thinking about him, The culprit appeared with a smile.
"Good morning. Sis!"
"Sol!"
Sullivan came into the class before time. He really missed his sister's warmth. He kissed her passionately without caring if Glinda was there or not.
Glinda couldn't help but blush as she saw Sullivan and his sister kissing. She quickly looked away, feeling a mix of embarrassment and jealousy.
'How can I feel like this? I shouldn't have thought of this.
"Oh, hey Glinda, Sorry, I didn't see you here."
Sullivan greeted her with a friendly smile. It was different from what he showed his sister. Her heart was feeling weird right now.
"I-It's okay, but please refrain from doing such a thing in front of the class. It is unbecoming of a god-"
Did she just scold a god! Glind was trying to change her way of speaking in fear that he would take offense to that, but
"Hehe, sorry, I will not do that if you don't like it."
He didn't get angry at her, and he would not do something she didn't like. She then remembered what Hermione told her.
'Did he really like me?'
Glinda blushed at the thought of the powerful god having feelings for her. She quickly pushed the thought aside, reminding herself that he was just being friendly. However, her heart couldn't help but flutter at the idea of someone as magnificent as him being interested in her.
Sullivan talked to Hermione, then nodded. She called him here before it was time for the class because she needed his help. He used his magical power to conjure magical creatures for the class. They were much stronger than normal grimm. and not only that.
There was a little creature who had the face of an old man. He was green like a goblin, but Glinda felt wisdom from him.
'What creature is this?'
The creature looked at Sullivan and said.
"As your request, teach students, I will."
Chapter 207 Combat Class [Edited] (missing chapter)
RPWBY and ANR were now coming in through the door to the combat classroom.
They were ready to fight. And when they came through the door. They had to stop because of what they saw now.
Not only them but everyone else too.
"Wow, Is this really a combat classroom?"
Yang said with wide eyes. She knew Beacon was the top academy in the world but she didn't think that they would have a room like this.
Weiss added.
"Why is there a swamp here? How is it even possible?"
The terrain in the classroom was a swamp. She could smell the mud all over the place.
"And is that a bullhead?"
Ruby pointed to the plane that was in the mud. They couldn't believe Beacon would be so rich to submerge a bullhead in a mud like that.
Blake who was silent and watched everything with focus. She could see people standing in a wide open area waiting for them. They were about 500 meters away from where they stood.
"That place should be where we learn about this classroom and Sullivan is there too."
"Big brother is there."
Hearing that Ai was the one to move before everyone else. She floated and then flew in the direction Blake told them.
"How convenient."
Weiss was envious of Ai who could fly. She didn't need to step in the mud. And be dirty like them.
The second person who moved was Pyrrha. She didn't care much about the mud. In fact, she was curious about it. She hadn't had a chance to fight on terrain like this before.
"Let's go together. We shouldn't let them wait."
Pyrrha smiled beautifully. She wanted to fight someone strong now.
"Yes! Let's go team raspberry!"
Ruby was Ruby. She was still energetic. Nora too. She dragged Ren with them.
"Please calm down Nora."
Ren sighed he would know better to not let her eat too many pancakes with honey syrup in the morning.
Only Sullivan was able to keep her high sugar overdose under control.
"Nope! We can't let our magical leader wait!"
At the open area. Glinda, Hermione and Sullivan waited for everyone to come and sit at the place they had prepared for them.
Ai was approaching very fast. She can't stay away from Sullivan for long.
"Big brother catch!"
Sullivan smiled at her antics. He opened his arm and received her in his embrace. She liked him carrying her very much.
Ai was exempt for the class because she was too young and didn't know how to hold back. With her eyes she could erase everything by accident. Sullivan needed to seal it for the time being when he knew about it.
The others had now reached where should be the place for them to learn about combat. Sullivan saw everyone and was surprised that Cardin with his faunus feature still there came to the class today too.
He told Ozpin that it wasn't permanent but told him not to tell Cardin so he would be able to learn his lesson.
"Welcome to the combat class everyone. Today we will have you fight each other and be evaluated. Then we will talk about the terrain and special class."
Glinda welcomed them with her usual strict persona.
There was a special class too? They didn't know about it because it wasn't in the school booklet.
Ozpin told her that, If Sullivan or Hermione wanted to do something. She should let them do it or help them if she could. He told her that they meant no harm and only good for humanity.
They would deal with Salem. Which was very good for them.
They started to change grimm to holy beast. The holy beasts were opposite to those grimm. They feast on darkness and become stronger when happiness is near them.
So whenever someone met Grimm, they needed to think of something that made them happy. Then the holy beast will protect them from grimm.
The class started by fighting each other. Sullivan now went back to his team and watched everything.
Cradin was paired with a faunus instead of Jaune who was now safe with Tsunade. He thought that when the weekend came he would go to visit him and maybe let him in Beacon after training him a bit.
Cardin was now having a hard time in fighting with the faunus. He tried to talk bad about faunus but all he got was laughing from the faunus.
And Cardin was beaten senseless by the faunus. He knew now that he wasn't that strong to say whatever he pleased. No one supported him in fear that they would be punished like Cardin.
