Bab 45: Chapter 44 - God's Grandson (Part 6)

"Sister, do you see what I see? Salatiel has given me no illusions." Gabriel asked, his voice trembling as he looked at the young man, his red eyes wide.

"No, it's real." Azrael replied to his younger brother, still staring at the young man.

He looked almost exactly like Lucifer when he was younger. Except for his eyes, his older brother's eyes were golden like God's, while the young man had the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen.

Not only that, Daemom resembled Lucifer when he was an angel, not the monster his brother became after becoming a fallen angel. And his soul... was a beautiful golden pain, magnificent and pure, showing that he had almost never sinned.

This brought a smile to Azrael's lips. Daemom Morningstar was everything but what one would expect from someone destined to be the ruin of the universe.
