Bab 45: Chapter 1091: Deception That Goes All the Way
The number of wild Pokémon tricked by Murkrow was enormous, with creatures running on the ground and flying in the sky, completely surrounding the ranch.

However, the number of wild Pokémon besieging the ranch was overwhelming. Shirai and the police had to fight while also protecting the workers in the ranch, making the battle increasingly intense.
Moreover, since the humans were at fault, Mayor Ishida and Shirai were afraid of doing too much and further angering the wild Pokémon, making the situation irreparable. As a result, the police were holding back in their efforts.
But the resistance from Shirai and the police still infuriated the wild Pokémon surrounding the ranch. They believed that the humans intended to exterminate them, and all the wild Pokémon began attacking the people in the ranch.
Mayor Ishida tried to calm the enraged wild Pokémon, but the scene was chaotic, and the Pokémon could not hear the humans' words.
As the situation grew increasingly out of control, with more and more people getting injured, Mayor Ishida had no choice but to decisively order an officer to escort his secretary back to seek help from Yuga.
By the time Yuga and the secretary arrived at the scene, most of the police led by Shirai and Officer Kotono Jenny had already fallen, with only a few struggling to hold on.
The security in Verdanturf Town had always been good, with hardly any major incidents in a year. Therefore, during her time in the town, Officer Kotono Jenny had never encountered such a dangerous task. Due to the overwhelming number of wild Pokémon attacking, both she and her Arcanine were exhausted.
At that moment, four Ursaring were attacking Officer Kotono Jenny. Her Arcanine, too exhausted, allowed one of the Ursaring to slip past it. That Ursaring bypassed Arcanine and directly attacked Officer Kotono Jenny from behind.
In that instant, Officer Kotono Jenny was so terrified that her mind went blank, and she froze, watching the Ursaring charge at her.
Just then, she noticed green vines suddenly growing from the grassy ground under her feet. The Ursaring charging at her was immediately bound by the vines, as were the other three Ursaring still attacking Arcanine.
After snapping out of it, Officer Kotono Jenny looked around and realized that it wasn't just her; the entire ranch's grassy ground was glowing, with vines sprouting from the ground and binding all the wild Pokémon attacking the ranch.
Bathed in the green light from the grass, she felt her exhaustion vanish, and the fresh scent of grass filled her senses.
This miraculous scene almost made Officer Kotono Jenny's jaw drop. She couldn't imagine what kind of powerful Pokémon could accomplish such a feat, controlling hundreds of Pokémon in an instant.
"We're saved! Gym Leader Shimizu is here!" someone shouted.
Following the voice, Officer Kotono Jenny noticed a young man standing in the center of the ranch. Beside him was a Florges with its arms outstretched, green light pouring from it, causing the vines in the grassy ground to sway.
At that moment, she finally understood why her family had instructed her uncle to use a high-quality Growlithe to win over the Gym Leader when they first came to Verdanturf Town.
This person was simply too strong, strong to a degree she couldn't even imagine.
This was Officer Kotono Jenny's first time seeing Yuga in action. Although she had always heard that Yuga was powerful, it wasn't until today that she truly understood the extent of that strength.
Officer Kotono Jenny even suspected that the head of the Jenny family might not be a match for this young man, who was just in his early twenties.
"Florges, Aromatherapy!"

The wild Pokémon's willingness to reconcile was partly due to Florges' show of force and partly because they were influenced by Celebi's blessing.
Celebi had always been highly respected among the wild Pokémon.
After the negotiations concluded, Masato Shirai finally approached Yuga to express his gratitude.
"Gym Leader Shimizu, thank you for your help. If you hadn't arrived in time, Kotono would have been in real trouble."
Yuga waved it off, saying, "It's nothing, we're all on the same team. It's what I should do!"
"Still, thank you!" Masato Shirai said sincerely, then called out to Kotono Jenny, "Kotono, come over here and thank Gym Leader Shimizu."
Obediently, Kotono Jenny walked over and earnestly thanked Yuga, "Gym Leader Shimizu, thank you."
