The atmosphere, which should have calmed down and continued in peace, became tense again because there was no understanding of the talks.

Marco remained calm and did not give in to anger. He stood straight, neither retreating nor advancing.

Restraining the Aura of Fear was not an easy task. But it was not that difficult either, as his ability to shift focus was different from those of other Apex-ranked hunters.

Ji-woo released Donovan to the ground and turned to face Marco.

"Thanks for that," Marco said after glancing at Donovan for a moment. His partner was just exhausted with dimmed eyes because his stamina was drained, and it was difficult to collect Mana in that condition. Regardless, everything was fine. Even with the other hunters lying helplessly on the ground elsewhere, bleeding wounds from Ji-woo's attacks.

Even so, the atmosphere did not subside. It remained tense and gripping as if an even more intense fight was about to break out.
